DOGGIE BISCOTTI BANANA TREATS
I made these for my little poodle who turns his nose up to just about everything but not these, he just loved them! just make certain that the containers are labeled doggie treats, these smell so good that someone might be tempted to eat one lol! It is also a great way to use up any leftover ripe bananas --- the brown sugar is only optional I like to add it in! :)

MOM'S FAMOUS PUMPKIN BISCOTTI (FOR DOGS!)
This is what Delicious Living says: "These delicious cookies are a favorite of the many dogs that visit the Licks and Wags Dog Bakery. They provide a hard, crunchy texture that helps maintain healthy teeth." Haven't tried these yet, but just got a puppy, so intend to soon. The recipe only says, "Makes 1 lb".

DOGGIE BISCOTTI
Doggies need treats too!!! This treat has Carob chips in it. These are like chocolate chips, but are not chocolate and they are safe for dogs. I did look this up because my dog has a sensitive tummy. They can be found in health food stores, by yogurt or by chocolate chips. If you cannot find Carob chips, you can make them, however, you would still need to hunt down the carob powder to do so. For more info on this you can go to eHow food and put in carob chips.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 400°. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and cinnamon. Place the peanut butter in a medium bowl and microwave at high power to soften, 5 to 10 seconds. Whisk in the milk, then stir the mixture into the dry ingredients.
- Shape the dough into a long, flattened log and place on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes; remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes. Slice the log crosswise on an angle into 1-inch-thick pieces with a serrated knife. Set the slices on their sides (they should look like biscotti) and bake until crisp, 10 to 12 minutes more. Transfer to a rack to cool.
- Melt the carob in a microwave or on the stovetop over low heat. Thin the melted carob with 1 tablespoon water, if needed. Using a spoon, drizzle the melted carob over the biscotti. Let cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
- Even if you do not have a pet, these are a cute way to give as gifts to friends and family that have dogs or just purchased or adopted a new dog. This way they do not feel left out.
