CHERRY DUMP SALAD

Steps:
- 1. Dump all ingredients into a large bowl. Combine with a wooden spoon until ingredients are evenly blended. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours or more. Serve and enjoy.
- 2. ****Tips Substitute any flavor pie filling for a unique treat. My Tips*** Add crushed almond cookies, mini chocolate chips and pecans for crunch.
FLUFFY PINK DUMP SALAD
A.k.a. "Pink Stuff"--only 4 ingredients! This is *SO* easy to make and great for potlucks, barbeques, picnics, family get-togethers, especially in the summer! It's a nice cool, light, sweet side dish or dessert. It's called a "dump salad" because all you have to do is dump the ingredients together and stir. Definitely double the recipe and make a large bowl for a gathering of 20+ people!

Steps:
- In a medium mixing bowl, dump in the Cool Whip and cherry gelatin powder and mix thoroughly.
- Dump in the pineapple (with juice) and cottage cheese and mix thoroughly.
- Refrigerate until serving.
- Refrigerate any leftovers.
STRAWBERRY DUMP SALAD
This is my mom's recipe, which she got from my grandmother. However, my grandmother used orange flavored Jell-O and my Mom always uses strawberry. This can be made low fat too!

- Sprinkle Jell-O over cottage cheese.
- Mix well.
- Add drained pineapple and let set in fridge.
- When ready to serve, mix well with Cool Whip and serve.

I got this from one of my favorite aunts and she called it "dump salad" because you just dump everything into a bowl and forget it. I took it to a work dinner and it was a big hit.
