QUICK AND EASY ALFREDO SAUCE
I experimented with this until I found a quick, cheap, and easy Alfredo sauce combination -- the secret is cream cheese!

Steps:
- Melt butter in a medium, non-stick saucepan over medium heat. Add cream cheese and garlic powder, stirring with wire whisk until smooth. Add milk, a little at a time, whisking to smooth out lumps. Stir in Parmesan and pepper. Remove from heat when sauce reaches desired consistency. Sauce will thicken rapidly, thin with milk if cooked too long. Toss with hot pasta to serve.

This is an amazing delicious easy Alfredo sauce that I got from another website. It is not a diet food, but I did use low-fat cream cheese....

- In a medium saucepan, melt butter.
- Once the butter is almost melted, add the package of cream cheese. (Cut into 4 pieces to help it melt quicker).
- Once the butter and cream cheese are mixed together add the cup of half and half and parmesan cheese.
- Shake black pepper on top.
- Stir all ingredients together until well mixed.
- Take saucepan off of the burner and set aside until it thickens.
- Stir frequently.
- Pour over your favorite pasta.
- I prefer Spinach Fettucine.

- Heat butter and olive oil in a saucepan over medium-low heat until butter is melted. Mix in cream, garlic, and white pepper and bring to a simmer, stirring often, 3 to 5 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and simmer, stirring frequently, until sauce has thickened and is smooth, 8 to 10 minutes. Add mozzarella cheese once sauce has thickened and stir until smooth.
