Easy Minute Red Gelatin Cake Recipes
RED AND GREEN HOLIDAY POKE CAKE
Celebrate Christmas with a Red and Green Holiday Poke Cake! Many may ask, but only Santa will know how you made the stripes on this holiday poke cake.

Steps:
- Place cakes, top-sides up, in clean 9-inch round pans; pierce with large fork at 1/2-inch intervals.
- Add 1 cup boiling water to each flavor dry gelatin mix in separate small bowls; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Pour red gelatin over 1 cake and lime gelatin over remaining cake. Refrigerate 3 hours.
- Dip bottoms of cake pans in warm water 10 sec.; unmold. Fill and frost cake layers with COOL WHIP. Refrigerate 1 hour. Top with berries.

- Preheat oven as directed on cake mix package. Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
- Beat together cream, oil, gelatin, applesauce and cake mix. Pour mixture into prepared pan. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 25 to 30 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean. Allow cake to cool completely.
- Mix together whipped topping, pudding mix and food coloring until thickened. Spread over cooled cake. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

This is the moistest cake you will ever eat. I love it with strawberry jello and garnished with fresh strawberries. The Cool Whip makes such a pretty pure white and creamy frosting. It was my mom's favorite birthday cake. Prep time is also chill time

Steps:
- Prepare cake according to package instructions.
- Allow to cool completely in pans.
- Using a fork, poke holes all over the top of the cake through to the bottom.
- Prepare jello according to package instructions except do not allow it to set yet.
- Pour jello slowly over the entire surface of the cooled cakes (cake will look soggy, but thats ok).
- Chill cakes until jello sets completely (several hours or over night).
- To remove cakes from pans, set the pan in a dish of hot water for 1 minute.
- Remove to a serving platter.
- Frost with the Cool Whip.
- Garnish with fruit pieces.
- Keep any uneaten cake covered and chilled.
