FESTAL GOLDEN PUMPKIN PIE
When it comes to canned foods, my mom has always told me to get Festal brand, for that is what her mom always told her. "It's the best!" she would say. Festal is distributed by the Owatonna Canning Company, of Owatonna, Minnesota, so it is actually pretty close to home. This is the recipe on Festal's Golden Pie Pumpkin. It's delicious! I like it best served cold. When I make it, there seems to be a lot extra after filling the one 9-inch pie crust, so I just divide the filling between two crusts. It makes 2 smaller pies, but that way none goes to waste!

TRADITIONAL PUMPKIN PIE
Usually I prepare two different desserts for our holiday dinner, but one of them must be pumpkin pie-otherwise, it just wouldn't seem like Thanksgiving. My version calls for more eggs than most, making this pie's pumpkin custard fillings especially rich-tasting. -Gloria Warczak, Cedarburg, Wisconsin

POTLUCK PUMPKIN PIE
I love this so much, that I now make it instead of a "traditional" pumpkin pie! It is so easy to make, with the shortbread crust & pumpkin filling. My family loves this at the holidays for our get-togethers & when I take it to potlucks, with friends, I always have someone wanting the recipe.
