BREAKFAST SAUSAGE
Makes a delicious, homemade breakfast sausage using ground pork and an assortment of spices.

Steps:
- In a small, bowl, combine the sage, salt, ground black pepper, marjoram, brown sugar, crushed red pepper and cloves. Mix well.
- Place the pork in a large bowl and add the mixed spices to it. Mix well with your hands and form into patties.
- Saute the patties in a large skillet over medium high heat for 5 minutes per side, or until internal pork temperature reaches 160 degrees F (73 degrees C).

FIVE-MINUTE BREAKFAST SAUSAGE
This recipe is from Mr. Food. This turned out grandkids- approved. It was quick and cheap to make. I used ground turkey in place of the pork. It is very mildly seasoned. I think that is why the kids liked it, the seasonings can be tweaked to your preference. Just be careful not to over-cook the patties or they will be dry. I also microwaved them on a microwave bacon platter that has ridges.

- Coat a microwave-safe 9" x 13" baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. In a medium bowl, combine all the ingredients; mix well. Form into 16 patties and place in the dish.
- Microwave at 80% power for 3 to 4 minutes, or until no pink remains in the pork. Serve immediately.
