Five Minute Mug Cake Recipes

Steps:

• 1. Spray your microwavable mug with a non-stick spray.
• 2. Mix these ingredients in your mug: 4 tbs. of flour, 4 tbs. of chocolate powder (I used Milo), 4 tbs. of sugar (or add more if you want to have diabetes), 1 egg, 3 tbs. of milk, 3 tbs. of oil (add semi sweet chocolate chips if you like).
• 3. Microwave for 3 minutes on high.

Steps:

• Add dry ingredients to a large coffee mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.
• Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts (high). The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.

Steps:

• Combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder and salt.
• Add the egg, milk, and oil and mix thoroughly.
• If desired, add chocolate chips (coat with flour first) to the mixture.
• Coat the inside of a large mug with cooking spray. Pour the cake batter into the mug.
• "Bake" in the microwave on the highest power for 3 minutes, then let it sit in the microwave for another 2 minutes to set up.
• Dump the cake into a bowl or onto a plate and enjoy! Top with ice cream for a special treat.
