OLD-FASHIONED LOLLIPOPS
Kids of all ages will savor these fun fruity lollipops. I received the recipe from my sister-in-law years ago. We still make them in a rainbow of jewel colors in her memory every Christmas. They're great stocking stuffers!

Steps:
- Place lollipop sticks in hard candy molds or arrange sticks 3 in. apart on greased foil-lined baking sheets; set aside., In a heavy saucepan, combine corn syrup and sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Cover and cook for 3 minutes to dissolve sugar crystals. Uncover and cook over medium-high heat, without stirring, until a candy thermometer reads 300° (hard-crack stage). , Remove from the heat; stir in flavoring and food coloring, keeping face away from mixture as odor is very strong. Immediately pour into prepared molds or pour free-form over ends of lollipop sticks on baking sheets. Let cool before removing.

FOSSIL SUCKERS ( CANDY POPS)
Kids love these lollipops that look like real creatures fossilized in amber. Try green food coloring and gummy worms to create Slimy Worm Suckers Have fun experimenting!

Steps:
- Also required, 1 candy thermometer.
- Push each lollipop stick into 1 or 2 gummy candies and arange on a cookie sheet allowing at least two inches between each.
- Stir corn syrup, sugar, and water in a pot over medium heat until all of the sugar dissolves then stop stirring.
- Boil mixture until the candy thermometer reads between 300-310° and IMMEDIATELY remove from heat!
- Stir in extract and food coloring.
- Quickly spoon 1-2 tbs of the mixture over the gummy candy6 and the top of the stick. Let the suckers cook for 2 hours or until completely hard.

LIFESAVER CANDY FLOWER POPS

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 275 degrees F. Line a baking tray with aluminum foil and top with a piece of parchment paper.
- Place a Life Saver on the tray and surround with five other Life Savers to form a flower shape. Because you'll need room to add the sticks later, only arrange three or four flowers across one side of the tray.
- Place the tray in the oven and bake for 6 to 10 minutes. Watch the candy closely so it doesn't over-melt. When the candy melts just enough to spread and fill the holes (I pulled mine out about 30 seconds early, hence those tiny holes), remove from the oven. Immediately and carefully place a lollipop stick on the flower and let cool completely before peeling off the tray. The underside is the front of the flower.

- Place crushed crackers in a shallow bowl. Insert 1 lollipop stick into each marshmallow. Dip two-thirds of each marshmallow in melted candy coating; allow excess to drip off. Dip in cracker crumbs, covering about half the chocolate., Place on waxed paper; let stand until set. Store in an airtight container.
