We look forward to fall in anticipation of making these spicy pumpkin seeds. I often put some in a decorated jar to give as a gift.

Spicy Pumpkin Seeds image

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, toss pumpkin seeds with oil, Worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce. Combine the salt, paprika, cumin and cayenne; sprinkle over seeds and toss to coat. , Line a 15x10x1-in. baking pan with foil; grease the foil. Spread pumpkin seeds in pan. Bake, uncovered, at 250° until lightly browned and dry, 45-50 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool completely. Store in an airtight container.

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the oil, celery salt, garlic powder and seasoned salt. Add pumpkin seeds; toss to coat. Spread a quarter of the seeds in a single layer on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 1 minute; stir., Microwave 2-3 minutes longer or until seeds are crunchy and lightly browned, stirring after each minute. Repeat with remaining pumpkin seeds. Serve warm, or cool before storing in an airtight container.

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
  • Mix pumpkin seeds, oil, garlic, salt, cayenne, and black pepper together in a bowl and spread in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven, turning every 10 minutes, until dried, about 45 minutes.

  • Saute seeds in oil unti lightly browned.
  • (use large frying pan) Transfer seeds to baking pan.
  • Mix in Salad dressing,until seeds are well coated.

  • Bake at 325 degree 20-25 minutes, or until crisp.
  • Stir often.
  • Store in zip-lock baggies.
  • Keeps up to 3 weeks.
