Steps:

  • Heat cheese, soup and milk over low heat.
  • Stir until smooth.
  • Add tuna, noodles and pepper.
  • Mix well.
  • Pour into a 2 quart ovenproof dish.
  • Top with cracker crumbs and margarine.
  • Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can tuna

1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup saltine crackers
3 cups elbow macaroni, cooked
2 tablespoons melted margarine

I just love this dish. Different from a usual tuna bake, this can be served either hot or cold, with vegetables or salad.

Steps:

  • Drain tuna & place in mixing bowl with onions, salt & pepper and half amount of cheese.
  • Crush 1/2 bag of potato chips & add to mixing bowl & mix together, with a little garlic powder and salt & pepper. If you can't get cheese & garlic chips, then cheese & onion will suffice, in which case, 1 clove of crushed garlic can be added.
  • Beat the egg & mix in with the tuna mixture.
  • Add a little milk if more binding required & place into ovenproof dish.
  • If you're adding fresh tomatoes, thinly slice tomato and layer with the tuna mix into the ovenproof dish.
  • Crush rest of crisps & mix with remaining grated cheese & sprinkle on top of tuna mix.
  • Bake in a medium oven for around 15-20 mins or until golden brown on top.

  • In a small bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients; cover and refrigerate until serving., In a small bowl, combine eggs, tuna, carrot, bread crumbs, green onion, parsley and pepper. Shape into x 2-in. logs; roll in remaining bread crumbs. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add half of croquettes; cook 4-5 minutes on each side or until browned. Apple Crisp with Granny Smiths image

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • In a bowl, gently toss the apples with the two sugars, cinnamon, lemon juice, and melted butter.
  • Place the mixture into a 1-1/2 quart casserole dish, and let sit for 15 minutes to allow the apple juices to be released.
  • In another bowl, combine the flour, sugars, cinnamon and oatmeal, then mix in the butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples.
  • Bake for 40 - 45 miniutes, or until the apples are cooked and the topping is golden brown.
  • Best enjoyed warm or at room temperature.

This was dinner tonight (4-19-2011). The children all loved it and asked for seconds! (in the photo of the children eating this... they were on second helpings!!!) This is the best tuna casserole!

Noel's ... Not Your Granny's TUNA CASSEROLE ! image

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Prepare pasta according to package directions (to al dente).
  • In the pot that you cooked the pasta in: Combine pasta with mushroom soup, sour cream and milk. Stirring gently until smooth. Add remaining ingredients stirring to mix together.
  • Pour pasta mixture into a 15 x 10 x 3 -inch casserole pan. (or divide it into two smaller pans).
  • Top with the remaining shredded cheese. Crumble coarsely, plain ripple potato chips over the top. Bake until bubbly and golden. Serve and enjoy!
  • *** We have a big family and use a big casserole pan, but it can be divided into two smaller ones. Small families may want to freeze one. (If freezing one: do not add the potato chips!)
