- Brown hamburger.
- Mix hamburger, soup and green beans.
- Put this mixture in a buttered 9x13-inch cake pan.
- Layer the tater tots over the top.
- Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
- NOTE: If casserole seems too thick, you may add a little more soup or add a little milk.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Brown and drain ground beef and chopped onions.
- Return ground beef to pan.
- Mix in 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 can of French-style green beans (drained), milk, salt, and pepper.
- In a small casserole dish, place mixture evenly spread on bottom of dish.
- Evenly spread cheese on top.
- Evenly spread tater tots on top of cheese.
- Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, until tater tots are browned well.

- Preheat oven to 400°. Place your tots in the bottom of a buttered 9x13 casserole dish and place in the oven and cook for 12 minutes while you prepare the other ingredients.
- Cook your ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until cooked through and browned. I usually try to get the hamburger pieces as small as I can (we don't like big chunks of hamburger in our casseroles). Drain the grease and set the hamburger aside on a plate or in a bowl.
- Add your chopped celery, mushrooms, onions, butter and 1 teaspoon of garlic to the skillet and cook until all are tender and cooked through.
