Here's a wonderful way to top off a great meal-a rich chocolaty cake that's not overly sweet. Mom served it with a scoop of ice cream or cream poured over. I'd always have room for a serving of Hot Fudge Cake. -Vera Reid, Laramie, Wyoming

- Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, whisk milk, oil and vanilla until blended. Add to flour mixture; stir just until moistened., Transfer to an ungreased 9-in. square baking pan. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and remaining cocoa; sprinkle over batter. Pour hot water over all; do not stir. , Bake 35-40 minutes. Serve warm. If desired, top with ice cream.

- Line a 2-qt. bowl with plastic wrap. Cut each cake roll into eight slices; place in prepared bowl, completely covering the bottom and sides. Cover and freeze for at least 20 minutes or until cake is firm., Spread vanilla ice cream over cake. Cover and freeze for at least 1 hour. Spread with fudge topping. Freeze for at least 1 hour. Spread with chocolate ice cream. Cover and freeze for up to 2 months. Just before serving, remove from the freezer and invert onto a serving plate. Remove bowl and plastic wrap. Cut into wedges.

- Spray a 9 1/2 inch deep-dish pie pan with cooking spray.
- In the prepared pan, mix the flour, yeast, sugar, salt, water, and melted butter.
- Top the batter with evenly-spaced spoonfuls of the hot fudge sauce. Using the spoon, swirl fudge sauce into the batter without mixing.
- Place the pie pan in a cold oven. Set the temperature to 350 degrees and bake for 25-30 minutes, until lightly browned and firm in the center.
- Cool 10 minutes. Combine powdered sugar and milk and drizzle over warm cake.

- Preheat oven to 350*F.
- Grease and flour a 15x10x1" baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, water, oil, and eggs; beat with an electric mixer on low speed until moistened.
- Beat for 2 minutes on medium speed; stir in the chocolate chips.
- Spread batter evenly into the prepared pan; bake for 18-28 minutes, or until the cake springs back when touched lightly in the center.
- Cool for 5 minutes on a wire rack.
- Gently spoon and spread 1 1/4 cups of the warm fuge sauce evenly over the cake; cool for 1 hour, or until completely cooled.
- Carefully spoon the frosting over the fudge sauce; spread evenly to the edges.
