Steps:
- Stand 10 to 12 push-pop dispensers upright in an ice cream cone holder with as many openings as you have containers. Slice the pound cake into 1/2-inch slices. Using the open end of a push-pop dispenser as a cutter, cut rounds of pound cake from the slices. Push a pound cake round to the bottom of each dispenser with your finger.
- Remove the banana split ice cream from its container and cut into 1/2-inch-thick slabs. Using the open end of a push-pop dispenser as a cutter, stamp out rounds of the ice cream slabs. Push an ice cream round on top of each pound cake round with your finger or a spoon.
- Place banana slices on top of the ice cream rounds and spoon in a little hot fudge sauce. Pipe a tall mound of whipped cream into each push pop until it stands up over the edge. Garnish with chopped walnuts, banana slices and maraschino cherries. Freeze until firm, about 1 1/2 hours.
FRESH FRUIT AND YOGURT ICE POPS
Simple and wholesome popsicles. My mom used to help us make these when we were kids and I still enjoy them years later. Use honey as an alternate sweetener, and blend the fruit to be either chunky or smooth.

YOGURT BANANA POPS
Steps:
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or wax paper.
- Insert a popsicle stick into each halved bananas. Place the yogurt in a shallow bowl, or in individual shallow bowls if using more than one flavor. Place the toppings in another shallow bowl, or in individual bowls if using more than one kind.
- One at a time, cover the bananas first in the yogurt, then dip them in your topping of choice, rolling to coat. Place on the prepared baking sheet and repeat until all the bananas are coated. Freeze until firm, at least 1 hour. If not eating right away, you can wrap each banana pop in aluminum foil and keep frozen.
YOGURT POPS
Steps:
- Mix together the yogurt, granola and maple syrup in a large bowl. Pour the mixture into ice-pop molds and add a stick to each. Freeze until the pops are completely frozen, at least 5 hours.
FUDGE POPS
Steps:
- In a blender combine the milk, chocolate milk powder, malt powder, and corn syrup and blend well. Pour into a popsicle mold with lids, insert wooden sticks, and then freeze.
- Notes about the recipe: Why buy these when they're so easy to make. And the kids can do it themselves, as long as you clean up the counter afterwards. Buy popsicle molds at specialty cookware shops or a large discount store like target in the summer. I used to ride my bike up town to the dairy store and buy these to keep me cool in the summer. We didn't have air conditioning so this was the alternative.
BLUEBERRY YOGURT POPS
Steps:
- Put the blueberry preserves into a quart-size heavy resealable plastic food bag and squeeze it into one corner. Put the yogurt into the bag and squeeze it gently with your hands to lightly mix; swirls of blueberry throughout the yogurt are fine.
- Arrange 6 mini paper drink cups on a small baking sheet. Using scissors, cut about 1/2 inch off the corner of the bag and squeeze the swirled yogurt mixture into the cups, filling them about two-thirds full. Gently insert a 6-inch lollipop stick into each cup. The thickness of the yogurt should help the sticks stand upright.
- Freeze for at least 2 hours before peeling off the paper cups and serving.

FRUITCAKE POPS
Steps:
- Place the fruitcake in the bowl of a food processor and grind to fine crumbs.
- Melt 3/4 cup of the white chocolate chips in the microwave, and then add to the fruitcake crumbs. Roll into 1 1/2-inch balls, about 12 total.
- Melt the remaining 2 cups white chocolate chips with the coconut oil in the microwave.
- Dip the tip of a lollipop stick in the melted chocolate mixture and stick in a cake ball. Place the pop on a waxed-paper-lined-baking-sheet, and repeat for the remaining pops.
- Freeze for 30 minutes.
- Dip the pops into the melted chocolate mixture to coat. Transfer to the baking sheet and rest until the chocolate hardens, about 3 minutes.
