KAHLUA CHOCOLATE CHIP BARS
This is a very easy recipe. I made these bars many years ago. I dug up this old recipe and tweaked it a little bit. I love chocolate chip cookies. These bars are delicious. They are a bar cookie with a delicious brown butter frosting. Great dessert for the holidays or any time.

Steps:
- 1. Heat oven to 350 degree's. Grease or line pan with parchment paper.
- 2. In a bowl sift the flour. Then sift again with salt and baking powder.
- 3. In another bowl beat butter and brown sugar together. Add the egg and beat until mixed. About 20 seconds.
- 4. Add flour mixture to butter mixture. Stir well. Add toasted coconut chocolate chips and nuts. Stir to incorporate well.
- 5. Spread in pan. Bake at 350 for about 25 minutes. Edges will just begin to brown. Top will not be real brown.Do not over bake, or bars will be dry. Cool for a few minutes. Brush 1 tablespoon of Kahlua on top of cookies.
- 6. Make frosting: In a pan melt butter. Stir until it turns golden brown. Remove from heat. Add 2 Tbsp Kahlua,and milk. Mix in the powdered sugar. Beat until smooth. When cookies are cool. Spread with frosting and sprinkle nuts on top. Cut in to squares, and serve.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a fluted tube pan (such as Bundt®) with cooking spray; dust with flour.
- Combine cake mix, sour cream, eggs, coffee-flavored liqueur, oil, pudding mix, orange zest, and cinnamon in a large bowl; beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until very smooth, about 4 minutes. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour batter into the prepared tube pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 50 to 60 minutes. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Invert onto a plate; let cool completely, about 30 minutes. Dust with confectioners' sugar.

- In large heavy saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat; stir in cocoa until blended. Whisk a small amount of hot mixture into egg yolk; return all to the pan, whisking constantly. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and a thermometer reads 160°, 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in cracker crumbs, confectioners' sugar and vanilla. Press into a greased 13x9-in. pan., For filling, in a large bowl, combine butter and Kahlua. Stir in confectioners' sugar. Spread over crust. - Heat oven to 375°F
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; mix well.
- In large bowl, combine sugar, brown sugar and shortening; mix well.
- Add eggs, liqueur and vanilla; mix well.
- Slowly stir in flour mixture until of uniform consistency.
- Stir in chocolate chips and pecans.
- Drop onto baking sheet in teaspoonfuls 3 inches apart.
- Bake 10 to 11 minutes or until light brown.
CHOCOLATE CHIP KAHLUA® PECAN PIE
Kahlua®, pecan, and chocolate pie; that is the perfect autumn desert. The chocolate chips don't make it too sweet and add just the right texture to a pecan pie. The Kahlua® tastes better if you let the pie sit for a day or two. This is not just your typical pecan pie. You can substitute Kahlua®-flavored coffee syrup for the Kahlua® liqueur, if desired. - Preheat oven to 375°F
- Beat sugar and butter in medium bowl until smooth; beat in flour. Gradually beat in corn syrup, then Kahlúa and vanilla.
- Mix in eggs, then chopped pecans.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips over bottom of crust. Pour filling into crust.
- Bake pie until filling is puffed around edges and just set in center, covering edge of crust if browning too quickly, about 45 minutes.
- Transfer pie to rack and cool completely.
