Kool Aid Pancakes Recipes

Steps:

• Beat pancake mix and milk in medium bowl with whisk until blended.
• Pour half the batter into separate bowl; stir in strawberry drink mix. Stir orange drink mix into remaining batter.
• Heat large nonstick griddle or skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium heat. Ladle batter onto griddle, using 1/4 cup batter for each pancake. Cook 2 min. or until bubbles form on tops, then turn to brown other sides.
• Place 1 of each flavor pancake on each of 6 serving plates. Top with COOL WHIP.

• In a LARGE juice pitcher (1 gallon/4 litres), stir together the 3 packages of koolaid and the sugar.
• Add about 1/3 of the water and stir well, making sure Kool-Aid and sugar dissolves.
• Slowly stir in remaining water; chill.

• Drop the batter by large spoonfuls, about 2 teaspoons in size, into the preheated oil; fry until deep golden brown on all sides, 2 to 3 minutes. Remove to drain on a platter lined with paper towels.
• Mix together 1 cup sugar with the remaining 1/2 packet of soft drink mix in a flat-bottomed dish. Roll the drained donuts in the sugar mixture while still hot. Set aside on a fresh set of paper towels to cool slightly; serve warm.
