Steps:

  • Mix ingredients, shake well, and pour over tall glass of crushed ice. drink slowly through a straw if you have one. If not, sip as usual.

1 tablespoon warm honey
1 teaspoon creme de menthe
tall glass crushed ice

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients together except marshmallow cream in a large bowl and pour in greased 9x13 pan. Bake 20-25 minutes. Remove from oven and spread on marshmallow cream immediately. Let cool completely.
  • 2. Icing-----Blend all ingredients well with mixer. Spread on top of marshmallow cream.

2 stick margarine, room temperature
4 large eggs
1 1/2 c all purpose flour
1 c chopped pecans
2 c sugar
1/2 c cocoa, unsweetened
1 can(s) coconut, sm. can
1 jar(s) marshmallow cream
ICING
1 stick margarine, room tempature
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 box powdered sugar
1/3 c cocoa
1/2 c evaporated milk

This authentic recipe is from my hometown of Houma, LA (about 70 miles south of New Orleans). This is great for just about any occasion. Don't let the name fool ya, this burger is to die for.

Steps:

  • In a medium sized mixing bowl, put the first 5 ingredients, Mix Well.
  • Shape meat into burgers, grill.
  • Sautee' onions and mushrooms until soft.
  • prepare brown gravy mix as directed on package.
  • Serve hot on a hamburger bun.
  • Place onions/mushrooms on top of burgers, then cheeses, then pour on desired amount of gravy.
  • Add condiments as desired.
  • This is also great with lettuce/ tomatoes/ pickles.

1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef (I use chuck)
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 whole egg
1 teaspoon seasoning salt (I use seasonall)
1 onion
1 cup fresh sliced mushrooms
2 slices cheddar cheese
2 slices monterey jack cheese
1 packet brown gravy mix (McCormick works well)
