MACARONI AND TOMATOES
This is a delicious side dish to add to about anything.

Steps:
- Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil over high heat. Once the water is boiling, stir in the macaroni, and return to a boil. Cook the pasta uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the pasta has cooked through, but is still firm to the bite, about 8 minutes. Drain well in a colander set in the sink.
- Pour the macaroni into a saucepan and place over medium heat; stir in the butter, bacon grease, tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes with juice, and sugar; season with salt and pepper. Stir while cooking until butter and bacon grease has melted and incorporated completely, 5 to 10 minutes; remove from heat, cover, and allow to sit about 20 minutes before serving.

ROONIES (MACARONI & TOMATOE JUICE)
This is a LOOOONG family recipe. It's not much but because I'm going to print out my cookbook for my girls; I had to add roonies to it! Nothing is measured so I've given you how I make it! =)

Steps:
- Take a 3 Qt sauce pan and fill it a little over half full with water. Bring water to a boil and fill the water half full with macaroni or noodles.
- Lower the heat and cook until pasta is tender; add tomato juice (DO NOT drain water) until it is a rich red color.
- Add a dollup of butter salt and pepper to taste and serve! ENJOY ;)
MACARONI AND TOMATO JUICE
Steps:
- Boil water and add macaroni. Cook until desired, and drain.
- Add tomato juice, and stir. Wait until it is heated thoroughly and serve.

- In a Dutch oven, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the tomato juice, tomatoes, celery, brown sugar, chili powder, salt, mustard and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 1 hour, stirring occasionally., Add the beans and macaroni; simmer 15-20 minutes longer or until macaroni is tender.

- Cook the macaroni in salted water to al dente according to the package instructions then drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process.
- In a large pot, melt the bacon grease and pour in the tomatoes with the juice. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium and cook until most of the liquid has evaporated, stirring occasionally - about 10 minutes.
- Add the macaroni to the tomatoes and mix well. Add the salt and pepper. Mix well then adjust seasoning to taste. (See my note about sugar below.) Serve warm.
