Simple appetizer that is easy to make and a crowd pleaser!

Steps:

  • Combine cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, picante sauce, green chiles, and taco seasoning in a large mixing bowl.
  • Spread some of the mixture over most of 1 tortilla, leaving a 1/2-inch border on one side. Roll up. Repeat with remaining tortillas and cream cheese mixture. Cut into 1- to 2-inch sections.

1 (8 ounce) jar picante sauce
1 (7 ounce) can chopped green chilies

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400*.
  • Grease cookie sheet.
  • Drain green chilies, and mix with Bisquick, sour cream and egg until blended.
  • Stir in cheese.
  • Drop dough by teaspoonfuls apart 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
  • Bake 10-12 minutes, or until golden.
  • Serve warm.

These little bites are the perfect do-ahead appetizer. Spoon the dough onto a greased cookie sheet and refrigerate up to 4 hours. Pop them in the oven about 10 minutes before your guests arrive. This recipe comes from the Betty Crocker's Bisquick Cookbook. Enjoy!

  • Heat oven to 400. Grease cookie sheet.
  • Stir Bisquick, sour cream, egg and chilies until blended. Stir in cheese.
  • Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2" apart onto cookie sheet.
  • Bake 10 - 12 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve warm.
