MULLED WINTER PUNCH
A warm holiday drink!

Number Of Ingredients 7
Steps:
- Combine all ingredients and bring to boil; Simmer uncovered 10 minutes ( NOTE: SPICES SHOULD BE WRAPPED IN CHEESECLOTH FOR EASY REMOVAL)
- Remove cinnamon and cloves
- Chill
- Just before serving add one 2 liter bottle chilled ginger ale
CIDER MULLED PUNCH
Steps:
- Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer, covered, for 10 minutes. Remove cloves and cinnamon stick and serve warm.

- Mix the clove-studded orange strips and all the other ingredients together in a large pan. Half fill the wine bottle with water and add to the pan or add 375ml water. Bring up to simmering point on the hob. Barely simmer for 15-20 minutes – do not let it boil or all the alcohol will evaporate. Serve in slightly warmed, heatproof cups or glasses.
