Mustard-Glazed Pork Roast image

Steps:

  • Cut slits in top of roast and insert garlic strips. Place roast in a large resealable bag; add salad dressing and vinegar. Seal bag and refrigerate overnight. , Drain and discard marinade. Place roast on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Season with onion salt, salt and pepper. , Bake, uncovered, at 325° for 1-3/4 to 2 hours or until thermometer reads 160°. Combine the preserves, mustard, brown sugar and butter; brush over roast during the last 15 minutes of baking.

1 boneless rolled pork loin roast (3 to 4 pounds), trimmed
1 garlic clove, peeled and cut into lengthwise strips
1 bottle (8 ounces) Italian salad dressing
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 teaspoon onion salt
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup apricot preserves
1/4 cup prepared mustard
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter, melted

Pork Roast with Apple Mustard Glaze image

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Take the pork out of the refrigerator 45 minutes before you are ready to roast to allow the pork to come to temperature.
  • Place the pork into a roasting pan fitted with a rack or onto a baking sheet, fat side up, and season with salt and pepper. Put in the oven and roast for 1 hour. Meanwhile, make the glaze.
  • In a saucepan over medium-high heat, bring the apple juice to a boil and reduce it by half, about 10 minutes. Whisk in the brown sugar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard and simmer until thickened, another 5 to 7 minutes.
  • After the pork has roasted for 1 hour, start brushing it with the glaze every 15 minutes. Cook until the roast reaches an internal temperature of 150 degrees F, about 2 hours total cook time. Remove from the oven, give it another coating of glaze, and let it rest, uncovered, for 15 minutes before carving. (Reserve 1 cup of the meat for the Round 2 Recipe Pork Hash).

1 (4 1/2 to 5 1/2-pound) bone-in pork loin end roast
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 1/2 cups apple juice
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Stir together the maple syrup, mustard, vinegar, soy sauce, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Place pork roast in a shallow roasting pan. Spread glaze evenly over pork roast.
  • Roast pork in the preheated oven uncovered, until internal temperature measured with a meat thermometer reaches 145 degrees F (63 degrees C), about 1 hour. Remove from oven, and let rest about 10 minutes before slicing to serve.

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, combine maple syrup, Dijon mustard, cider vinegar, and soy sauce.
  • Spread mixture over pork roast and place in a shallow baking dish.
  • Roast pork in a 350F oven about 1 1/4 hours or until internal temperature reaches 160F, basting with sauce occasionally.
  • Remove roast from the oven and let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
  • Slice roast and and smother with sauce.

Spicy Honey Mustard Pork Roast image

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Score 1/2 inch slits in your roast and place in baking dish.
  • Combine honey, mustard, pepper, thyme, and salt in small bowl; mix until well blended. Brush mixture over roast, working well into slits.
  • Bake roast in preheated oven for one hour. Remove roast from oven and flip in pan. Brush remaining honey sauce over roast. Return to oven and continue baking for 45 minutes to an hour or until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F (63 degrees C). Let stand for 15 minutes before slicing.

Honey-Mustard Pork Roast image

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the beer, mustard, honey, oil, garlic and rosemary. Pour half into a large resealable plastic bag; add the roast. Seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Cover and refrigerate remaining marinade., Drain and discard marinade from pork. Place roast on a rack in a roasting pan. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 55 to 65 minutes or until a thermometer reads 160°. Let stand for 10 minutes before carving., Place reserved marinade in a small saucepan. An easy recipe that is great for a dinner party. I found it in a magazine (Women's Day? Family Circle?) while sitting in the waiting area of the hospital emergency room. My family now refers to it as "Emergency Room Roast." I served it with sweet potato casserole and creamed spinach. (BTW, my dad was in the ER but he's just fine now, thank you!)

Apricot Mustard Glazed Pork Roast image

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Mix apricot preserves, Dijon mustard, vinegar, garlic salt, and pepper.
  • Cover roasting pan with foil (for easier cleanup).
  • Place pork roast on rack in pan.
  • Pour about 2/3 of apricot-mustard mixture over roast.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
