- Mix cake mix, oats, sugar and cinnamon together in large bowl. Pour melted butter over the top. Mix with fork until crumbly.
- Bake 35-40 minutes, until apples are tender and top is golden brown.

- Peel & slice apples. Put in bottom of 9x13 oan.
- Mix white sugar, flour, cinnamon, & salt in a bowl. Sprinkle over sliced apples.
- Drizzle water over top of apples & mixture.
- In a bowl mix cake mix, oats, margarine, brown sugar, baking powder, & baking soda.
- Sprinkle mixture over apples. Bake @ 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.

- Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 8-inch square (2-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray.

This is the best dessert for the early fall when the sweet and firm apples are just in season. Use the best quality cinnamon you can get and get it from a spice merchant or even a store where you can get it bulk; it does make a difference. - Heat oven to 350°F. Spray bottom and sides of 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
- In medium bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Cut in cold butter, using fork or pastry blender, until mixture is crumbly. Stir in nuts; set aside.

- When ready to serve, in chilled medium bowl, beat whipping cream with electric mixer on medium-high speed until slightly thickened. Reduce speed; beat in powdered sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and the vanilla. Increase speed; beat mixture until stiff peaks from. Top cake with whipped cream.
