Steps:
- In saucepan, combine the first 5 ingredients. Cook until thick. Remove from heat and add the Jell-O; allow to cool.
- Add the bananas and pecans.
- Pour into pie shells and top with whipped topping.
OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD PIE
Recipe is from Taste of Home several years ago. Pie has cherries, pineapple, bananas, and whipped topping. YUM!

Steps:
- 1. In a large saucepan, combine pie filling and pineapple. Combine sugar and cornstarch; add to fruit mixture. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil. Cook and stir 1-2 minutes longer or until thickened.
- 2. Remove from the heat. Add gelatin and food coloring if desired; mix well. Cool. Fold in bananas and pecans. Pour into the pie shells. Spread with whipped topping. Chill until serving. Yield: 2 pies (6-8 servings each).
- 3. Cut set aside cherries in several pieces and place on top of pie to decorate.
APPLE PIE BY GRANDMA OPLE
This was my grandmother's apple pie recipe. I have never seen another one quite like it. It will always be my favorite and has won me several first place prizes in local competitions. I hope it becomes one of your favorites as well!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in flour to form a paste. Add water, white sugar and brown sugar, and bring to a boil. Reduce temperature and let simmer.
- Place the bottom crust in your pan. Fill with apples, mounded slightly. Cover with a lattice work crust. Gently pour the sugar and butter liquid over the crust. Pour slowly so that it does not run off.
- Bake 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Reduce the temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Continue baking for 35 to 45 minutes, until apples are soft.
