- Cook spaghetti as directed on package, omitting salt; drain.
- Melt butter in medium skillet on medium heat. Add shrimp and garlic; cook and stir 4 min. or until shrimp turn pink. Add spaghetti and tomatoes; toss to coat.
- Top with cheese and basil.

Steps:
- Add the shrimp to a small bowl and pour the dressing over the shrimp; cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
- Remove the shrimp from the marinade; set aside reserving the marinade.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat; add shrimp and cook 3 minutes or until shrimp turn pink, stirring frequently.
- Using a slotted spoon, remove the shrimp from skillet; cover to keep warm, set aside.
- Add the tomatoes, reserved marinade, cream cheese, red pepper flakes if using and 1 tablespoon of the basil to same skillet; cook and stir 3 minutes until well blended.
- Add the shrimp; cook until heated through, stirring occasionally.
- Place the hot fettuccine on a large serving platter; top with shrimp mixture, sprinkle with remaining basil and grate cheese over all.

EASY CREAMY SHRIMP LINGUINE FOR TWO
This is one of my favorite quick and easy meals. I like lots of sauce, but if you don't, then use the larger amount of pasta.

Steps:
- Over high heat, bring a 3 quart saucepan of water to a boil; add one teaspoon salt, then add linguine; return to boil, lower heat to medium high and boil for 11 minutes.
- While pasta is boiling, pour jar of sauce into a medium saucepan, add 1 cup frozen baby shrimp. Simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently, until shrimp are hot. Lower heat to barely simmer, stirring frequently, until the pasta is ready.
- Drain pasta, then pour the pasta into the shrimp sauce. Mix until pasta is covered in sauce and shrimp is evenly distributed
- Pour the mixture into serving bowl/plate, sprinkle with fresh parmesan shavings. Serve immediately.
- Recipe may be doubled.
CRISPY SHRIMP PASTA FOR TWO
Something special for two. The shrimp is the show in this dish paired with lightly sauced angel hair pasta.

Steps:
- Sprinkle shrimp with salt, pepper and toss to combine. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon flour over the shrimp and toss to coat the shrimp. Repeat by sprinkling 1 more tablespoon flour and toss to evenly coat the shrimp.
- Melt butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. When hot, add the shrimp in a single layer and cook on each side, flipping once, until golden brown, approximately 3-4 minutes per side. Remove to plate.
- Pour in the chicken broth. Cook for about 5 minutes, whisking the bottom of the pan to deglaze. Reduce heat to medium and pour in cream, whisking constantly. Cook sauce over medium heat until bubbly and the cream starts to thicken the mixture, about 5 minutes. Adjust seasonings as desired with cajun seasonings. If too thick, add a few tablespoons additional broth.
- Add the cooked pasta and shrimp to the sauce and stir to combine. Dust with parmesan, if desired.
