Barbecued Peanuts image

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the barbecue sauce, butter, garlic powder and cayenne. Add peanuts; stir until evenly coated. Transfer to a greased 13x9-in. baking pan. , Bake, uncovered, at 325° for 20-25 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Spread on waxed paper; cool completely. Store in an airtight container.

Peanutty Pork Kabobs image

Steps:

  • In a large bow, combine the first seven ingredients. Set aside 1/2 cup for basting; cover and refrigerate. Pour remaining marinade into a large resealable plastic bag or shallow glass container; add pork and turn to coat. Seal or cover and refrigerate for 2-3 hours, turning occasionally. , Drain and discard the marinade. On metal or soaked wooden skewers, alternate pork and green peppers. Grill, uncovered, over medium heat for 6 minutes, turning once. , Baste with reserved marinade. Grill 8-10 minutes longer or until meat juices run clear, turning and basting frequently.

Peanut-Ginger Marinade image

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, gradually stir hot water into peanut butter. Stir in chili paste, soy sauce, oil, vinegar, garlic, ginger and ground red pepper. Place chicken in marinade, and turn to coat evenly. Cover, and refrigerate overnight, turning occasionally.
  • Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat, and lightly oil grate. Thread chicken pieces onto skewers. Discard marinade.
  • Grill chicken 8 to 10 minutes per side, or until no longer pink, and juices run clear.

This came from my friend Jolene. of course, I "HAD" to change it a bit, I can't help myself. It's a bit much for most Fish but it goes well with almost alything else especially Chicken and Turkey. Come to think of it maybe you'll like it with Fish. Give it a try.

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender, puree.
  • Place in a small sauce pan.
  • Bring to a slow boil, reduce heat and simmer 9-10 min.
  • Cool to room temperature.

Ribs with Peanut Barbeque Sauce image

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 275 degrees F.
  • Add all of the ingredients for the brine except for the ribs in a large sauce pot and bring to a boil just to dissolve the sugar and the salt. Remove the brine from the heat and cool. Place the ribs into a plastic zip top bag and pour the cooled brine over the top. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours and up to 12.
  • Remove the ribs from the brine, place on a sheet pan fitted with a rack, and cover with foil. Place in the oven and cook, covered, for 1 hour.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together all of the Peanut BBQ Sauce ingredients and set aside.
  • Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the foil. Baste with the sauce, place the ribs back into the oven and baste every half hour until the ribs are tender and easily pull apart, about 2 more hours.

1 cup rice vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 quarts water
1/4 cup Kosher salt
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons Chinese five spice
2 (3-pound) racks pork ribs, St. Louis style
2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
3 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon Chinese five spice
