PEANUT BUTTER BROOKIE DEEP-DISH DESSERT PIZZA

When it comes to dessert, we think over-the-top is just enough. Betty Crocker™ Peanut Butter Cookie Mix and Betty Crocker™ Fudge Brownie Mix create the "crust" in this chocolate-peanut butter dessert pizza. Once you've created a dessert-worthy crust, add your "pizza sauce," made with sweet cream cheese. Top with miniature peanut butter cups and a peanut butter drizzle. Peanut Butter Brookie Deep-Dish Dessert Pizza image

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 10-inch springform pan with shortening or cooking spray. Make brownie batter as directed on box. Spread in pan.
  • Make cookie mix as directed on pouch. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls evenly onto brownie batter; press down lightly.
  • Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of pan comes out almost clean. Cool completely on cooling rack, about 2 hours.
  • In medium bowl, beat cream cheese, 1/2 cup of the powdered sugar, the whipping cream and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Spread mixture evenly over brownie base, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edge. Top with peanut butter cups.
  • In small bowl, beat peanut butter, milk and remaining 1/4 cup powdered sugar. Spoon into resealable food-storage plastic bag; partially seal bag. Cut small tip from corner of bag; drizzle over top of pizza. Cut into 16 wedges, and serve. Store loosely covered in refrigerator.

(this recipe will make enough dough for several dessert pizzas, double the rest of the ingredients to make more pizzas, left over dough stores well in the refrigerator) Mix graham cracker crumbs, both peanut butters, and 3/4 cup of powerded sugar until is resembles course crumbs, add extra graham cracker crumbs and powerded sugar if its too creamy. stir the melted butter, milk, vanilla and 1/2 cup of powdered sugar together, if this glaze is too thin add more powdered sugar. Take a ball of dough and press into a circle shape on floured surface. Place dough on baking sheet or pizza pan. Add the peanut butter mixture on top of dough (get enough on there so the pizza is throughly covered) Add the chocolate chips on top. Bake for 15-20 minutes (until crust is golden brown, and fairly firm to the touch) Once cooled slightly drizzle glaze over top. Cut into pieces and serve warm.

  • In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the hook attachment (or a large bowl if kneading by hand), place 1 3/4 cups of the flour, milk powder, sugar, yeast*, salt then whisk together to combine. Add in the oil and whisk into the flour mixture until throughly mixed in.
  • With the mixer on low speed, gradually pour in the warm water. Knead together until a smooth and uniform dough starts to form. If the dough is still very sticky, gradually add in the rest of the flour, one tablespoon at a time until the dough clears the sides on the bowl but sticks to the bottom. You might not need all of it. Continue kneading until the dough is smooth and elastic but not dry. It should still be slightly sticky and feels tacky, but not messy. You should be able to easily form it into a smooth ball when handled with oiled hands. Resist the temptation to add too much flour or the crust will be tough.
  • Transfer the dough to an oiled bowl, and turn it over to get it all covered with the oil. Cover with plastic wrap and place in a warm place. Let it rise until doubled in bulk, 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  • During the last 15 minutes of rising, place the oven rack to the lowest position and turn the oven to 450F/230C.
