Steps:
- Line a 9x13-inch (22 x 33) cm baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together the popcorn, puffed rice, peanuts, and pretzels.
- In a small pot over medium-high heat, combine the honey, brown sugar, and salt. Cook until the brown sugar dissolves, stirring frequently to avoid burning, 2-3 minutes. Let the mixture to come to a low boil for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, then remove the pot from the heat.
- Pour the honey and brown sugar mixture over the popcorn mixture. Using a rubber spatula, stir until the dry ingredients are well coated and beginning to stick together.
- Once the mixture comes together and has cooled slightly, add ½ cup (85 G) of the chocolate chips, mixing well to incorporate. Some of the chocolate may melt, but that's okay!
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Using lightly moistened hands, press the mixture into the baking dish in an even layer.
- Top with the remaining ¼ cup (40 G) chocolate chips and more pretzels.
- Set aside in a cool place for 1 hour to set, then cut into 12 bars.
- Enjoy!

CARAMEL PRETZEL NUT POPCORN
This is a very good holiday treat the my kids can't get enough of. It combines the sweetness of caramel with the saltiness of pretzels, nuts and popcorn. There is no mess because it is mixed in a large throw-away brown bag!

Steps:
- Place the pretzels, popcorn and peanuts into a large paper bag or, if you have one, a very large bowl. Set aside.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter. Cook, stirring to melt the butter and dissolve the sugar, until the mixture comes to a boil. Once the mixture is at a full boil, continue to cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from the heat, and stir in the salt, vanilla, and baking soda. The mixture will foam up when you add the soda, so use a long spoon to stir. Immediately pour the sugar mixture over the popcorn and pretzels in the bag. Shake until evenly coated. For a crispier treat, boil the sugar mixture longer, or bake the finished mix in the oven at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for about 10 minutes.

CHOCOLATE PRETZEL SQUARES
One of those "Why didn't I think of that?" easy-to-make treats to send in to school or bring to the office. Inexpensive, too! Who doesn't like the taste of salt & chocolate together? The prep time includes the microwave time. Honestly, it takes the longest time just to unwrap the Hershey's Kisses. =^..^=

Steps:
- 1. Place pretzels on a microwavable plate. Place an unwrapped Hershey's kiss on each pretzel square.
- 2. Microwave for just enough seconds** (see below) to start to melt the chocolate enough that an M & M can be pressed into the top of the Hershey's kiss.
- 3. **(My microwave takes 47 seconds, then I let them stay on the warm plate for another 30 seconds or so before pressing in the M & M. If the M & M doesn't go down easily, leave it & work on another before coming back to the stubborn M & M.)
- 4. Only do a few at a time so that the chocolate doesn't have time to harden again.
- 5. Cool on a cooling rack (or 10 minutes in the freezer) & store in an air-tight container until ready to serve.
- 6. ANOTHER GREAT IDEA: Use Hershey's Hugs in place of the Hershey's Kisses. The stripes look very festive!
