- In a medium sized mixing bowl, stir together the ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, Old Bay seasoning, and the liquid smoke.
- Place the ribs in the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Pour sauce over the ribs.
- Cook on low for six hours until ribs are tender.

- Combine ingredients. I think shoepeg corn is just white corn -- I've substituted it when I couldn't find shoepeg corn on the shelf. Be careful handling the jalapenos. I've also made it with just Italian dressing so I didn't have to buy a whole bottle of Catalina, and it works just fine. It's also great with light salad dressing -- doesn't have to be the full-fat kind. This makes an enormous quantity -- enough for two big bag of chips.
