  • 1. Cut steak into 6 serving pieces or more.
  • 2. Place in slow cooker.
  • 3. Add onion soup mix, water and mushroom soup.
  • 4. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.

Steps:

  • Slice Round Steak into strips, trim fat, and place into crock pot.
  • Sprinkle with flour and mix thoroughly.
  • Salt and pepper to taste, and.
  • Add all remaining ingredients in the order indicated to crock pot.
  • Cook on medium heat for 8 - 10 hours.
  • Serve over mashed potatoes or rice.
  • ENJOY!

Crock Pot Steak and Gravy image

Steps:

  • Season the steak with the salt and pepper and cut into serving sized pieces.
  • Mix soup, water, onion with kitchen bouquet in 2 quart crock pot.
  • Add the steak by dredging the pieces in the soup mixture and adding to the crock pot.
  • Cook on low for 8-10 hours. Adjust time for hotter-cooking newer crock pots by cooking for 6-8 hours.
  • At the end of the cook time, mix flour with 1/4 cup water and add half the flour slurry, allowing 15 minutes to thicken. Add the remainder if necessary to thicken further.
  • Serve with noodles or rice.

2 lbs steak (I use cheaper cuts like shoulder steak)
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon Kitchen Bouquet (or equivalent)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper (freshly ground)
1/2 onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tablespoons flour
