EASY BISQUICK CHICKEN LEGS
This was adapted from a recipe on the back of the box. This is great cold and also good for potlucks. You could keep the chicken legs warm in a crock-pot, set on low.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 450°F Line cookie sheet with foil; spray with cooking spray.
- In 1-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag, stir together Bisquick® mix, salt, basil and garlic powder.
- Dip half the chicken strips into egg; place in bag of Bisquick mixture. Seal bag; shake to coat. Place chicken on cookie sheet. Repeat with remaining chicken. Drizzle melted margarine over chicken.
- Bake 12 to 14 minutes, turning after 6 minutes with pancake turner, until no longer pink in center.

- Heat/melt shortening in frying pan, low heat.
- Place pork & veal cubes alternately on 6" skewers.
- Dip skewered meats in to egg.
- Roll meats in bread crumbs.
- Cook skewed meats in shortening about 60 minutes.
- Turn meats occasionally for even cooking.
- Remove from pan, drain on paper towels.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Put chicken legs, skin side up, on a foil covered baking sheet. In a bowl, stir together remaining ingredients. Pour half of this sauce into another bowl and set aside to use as a dipping sauce.
- Brush some of the remaining mixture onto each chicken leg. Bake for 40 minutes or until a thermometer inserted into the drumsticks reads 170F (77C). Brush the chicken legs with sauce every 10 minutes during baking.
- Warm the saved sauce in the microwave for 30-40 seconds on high. Serve as a dipping sauce for the chicken. Serve chicken legs with a salad and rice or potatoes.
- TIP: 8 bone-in chicken thighs can be used instead of 4 chicken legs.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Marinate the chicken legs in the worchestershire sauce for 30 minutes.
- Blend the HP sauce with the brown sugar, lemon juice, ginger, sesame oil, garlic and cinnamon in a small saucepan.
- Cook on medium stirring ocasionally until hot and bubbly.
- Reserve the sauce.
- Sprinkle the chicken evenly with salt and pepper.
- Place on a grill meaty side down.
- Grill for 5 minutes or until well-marked.
- Baste with some of the sauce.
- Turn the chicken and baste again with the sauce.
- Grill the chicken, covered basting occasionally for 40 minutes or until very tender and the juices run clear.
