Steps:

  • Gently blend all ingredients well.
  • Chill for 2 hours prior to serving.
  • Serve with sturdy ruffled type chips or any variety of crackers.

Good Seasonings Italian salad dressing mix, 1 package

This recipe is at least 30 years old and I still get requests to make it! This is one of those recipes where children can help since it is mostly stirring. I have altered the original a tad just to add some extra color appeal. Otherwise, it stands true!

Steps:

  • Mix the cream cheese, sour cream, lemon juice, and dressing mix together in a large bowl.
  • Once well blended, fold in the shrimp and green onions.
  • Refrigerate for at least one hour.
  • Serve with crackers (originally was served with Ritz).

1 (1/8 ounce) packet Good Seasonings Italian salad dressing mix (standard packet)
1/4 cup finely sliced green onion
1 cup finely chopped cooked shrimp

Steps:

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain well and keep warm.
  • Meanwhile, rinse shrimp; pat dry. For sauce in a large skillet cook garlic in hot oil over med high heat for 15 seconds.
  • Add shrimp. Cook and stir for 2-3 minutes or until shrimp are opaque. Remove shrimp. Combine chicken broth, cornstarch, and basil. Add to skillet. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
  • Add the spinach. Cook 1-2 minutes more, or until wilted.
  • Return the shrimp to skillet; stir to combine.
  • Toss shrimp mixture and pasta together.
  • Pass Parmesan cheese and pepper.

12 ounces fresh medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 1/2 teaspoons bottled minced garlic
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
4 cups prewashed Baby Spinach
finely shredded parmesan cheese
fresh ground black pepper or crushed red pepper flakes

  • Blend cheese with remainder of ingredients. Chill at least 1 hour before serving. Serve with crackers, tortilla chips, Melba toast, etc.
