BASIC GRANOLA RECIPE
This basic granola recipe is pretty perfect as is, but feel free to swap out ingredients to customize it to your taste (see Cook's Notes below for sample substitutions).

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together the oats, light brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. Stir the honey, oil and vanilla extract into the dry ingredients. Use your hands if necessary to make sure it's well combined.
- Spread the mixture in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes and then remove from the oven and stir; add the chopped almonds. Return to the oven and bake until everything is toasted and evenly browned, an additional 10 minutes.
- Allow the granola to cool on the baking sheet, then add the dried cranberries and toss to distribute. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.

SIX MILE GRANOLA

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Add sugar, and cook until melted. Stir in brown-rice syrup or honey, vanilla, salt, cinnamon, and water. Add remaining ingredients, except dried fruits, and toss. Arrange in a single layer on two rimmed baking sheets. Bake, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and dry, about 1 1/2 hours. Let cool on sheets. Transfer to a bowl, and add dried fruits. Granola can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks.
POWER PACKED GRANOLA
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
- In a large bowl, mix together oats, almonds, pecans, coconut, chia seeds, flax seeds, cinnamon, and salt.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, coconut oil, and vanilla, then pour over the oat mixture and stir until combined.
- Spread granola onto a baking sheet covered with parchment paper or a baking mat in an even layer.
- Bake for 30 minutes (stirring halfway through), then remove and let cool.
- Transfer to an airtight container and store at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.

HONEY GRANOLA

Steps:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients.
- Stir in honey, oil and vanilla. Mix thoroughly.
- Divide into 2 equal parts and bake each part in a 15 x 10 inch cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes until golden brown stirring occasionally.
- Stir in ½ the apples into each part. Cool. Stir with a fork until crumbly.
- Store in a tightly covered container in the refrigerator.

ALMOND BUTTER GRANOLA RECIPE

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- In a medium bowl, mix together oats, almonds, coconut chips, salt and cinnamon and set aside.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, mix together almond butter, coconut oil, and honey until smooth. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
- Pour almond butter mixture over dry ingredients, and stir until completely combined. Spread granola over a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake for 18-20 minutes (stirring once halfway through cooking), until coconut is toasted and granola starts to brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool.
- Transfer to a mixing bowl or storage container (will keep fresh for 1-2 weeks).
