Steps:

  • Place all ingredients in slow cooker/Crock Pot and cook on low for about 7 to 8 hours or until chicken is done. Remove meat, shred and return to sauce. Place on buns for sandwiches or serve over hot rice.

1 c. ketchup
1/2 c. maple flavored syrup
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
4 boneless, skinned chicken breasts

Steps:

  • Put chicken breast halves in a slow cooker.
  • Whisk barbeque sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes together in a bowl until the sugar dissolves; pour over the chicken.
  • Cook on Low for 4 to 6 hours.

  • In a large bowl, combine the first four ingredients; reserving 3/4 cup. , Grill chicken, uncovered, over medium heat for 3 minutes on each side. Grill 6-8 minutes longer or a thermometer reads 170°, turning occasionally and basting with sauce. Serve with reserved sauce.

Steps:

  • Place the chicken breasts into the bottom of a slow cooker. In a bowl, stir together the ketchup, mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, maple syrup, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, cayenne pepper, and hot sauce until the mixture is well blended.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken, set the cooker to Low, and cook for 6 hours. Shred the chicken with two forks, and cook for 30 more minutes. Serve the chicken and sauce spooned into the sandwich rolls.
