Steps:
- Beat egg/s, milk, butter and syrup together.
- Sift flour, baking powder and salt and stir into the liquids. Fold in fruit/nuts.
- Pour into oiled 9" x 5" loaf pan and bake at 350 F for 50-60 minutes. Cool on rack.

Steps:
- In a saucepan, combine the first seven ingredients; bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened; set aside. , In a large bowl, combine the first six meat loaf ingredients; add 2/3 cup of the reserved sauce. Crumble beef and pork over mixture and mix well. , Pat into two greased 8x4-in. loaf pans. Pour the remaining sauce over loaves. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 50 minutes or until no pink remains and a thermometer reads 160°.

Steps:
- In large bowl combine oats and boiling water; stir until mixed. Let sit 2 hours; add butter and honey.
- Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; add milk powder.
- Beat egg and water. Add flour mixture; add this mixture to the oatmeal and mix well (do NOT overmix).
- Turn into an oiled 9" x 5" loaf pan and bake at 350 F for 60-70 minutes, until crust is golden. Turn onto rack to cool.
