SPICY-SWEET PRETZEL MIX
This crunchy bar snack goes great with Pomegranate Soda.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl, toss together pretzels and almonds.
- In a small saucepan, bring butter, sugar, cayenne, and 1 tablespoon water to a boil, stirring constantly. Pour over pretzel mixture in bowl; gently toss to combine.
- Spread pretzel mixture in a single layer on prepared sheet. Bake until almonds are crisp, about 20 minutes, tossing occasionally. Cool on sheet before serving.

- Melt the semisweet chocolate chips in a heavy pot or a double boiler over low heat, stirring frequently, or melt in the microwave on medium power, stopping the microwave and giving the chips a stir every 15 seconds until they are melted. Remove from the heat and stir in the peanut butter until well combined.
- Drop the mixture by heaping tablespoons onto the prepared baking sheet. Allow to set (in warmer months this is best done in the fridge). Let them sit at room temperature for several minutes before serving.
