SWEET CRISPIX MIX
This stuff is addicting! I got this recipe from a neighbor a few years ago. It is a great munchie that everyone loves.

Steps:
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray a 9 X 13 pan with cooking spray.
- Break pecan halves in half.
- Mix together cereal, pretzels, and pecans in the pan.
- Melt together butter and brown sugar.
- Drizzle brown sugar mixture over cereal mixture.
- Mix all together.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes.
- Stir.
- Bake an additional 8 minutes.
- Continue to stir mixture until completely cool or it will harden into one big mound.

- Mix cereal, pretzels and nuts in a large bowl, set aside. You may even want to divide this up into two bowls to make the stirring easier in the next steps.
- Boil the butter, sugar, syrup, and vanilla in a saucepan for 3 minutes.
- Pour syrup mixture over the cereal and mix until well coated.
- Spread on waxed paper on baking sheets to cool.

- Add brown sugar, butter, Karo syrup and salt to a large saucepan. Boil for 1-1/2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the baking soda. Be careful because the mixture will foam up and be very hot. Pour into the paper bag over the cereal mixture.
- Roll the top of the bag down and shake to distribute the sugar mixture throughout the cereal mixture. Heat bag in the microwave on high for 1 minute. Remove and reshake. Return to the microwave for a total of 3 times.
- Spread out on rimmed cookie sheets to dry for a couple hours or overnight. Occasionally break up the mix. Store dried mix in an airtight container.
