SWEET AND SOUR HAM
I CAME UP with this recipe several summers ago. I had a ham in the refrigerator and was trying to avoid heating up the kitchen by preparing it in the oven. The stovetop was the solution. Ever since, this recipe has been my standby for when I have leftover ham. Served over rice, it's delicious! -Diane Widmer Blue Island, Illinois

SWEET AND SOUR HAM MEATBALLS
I took this recipe from a french cook book ( Qu'est-ce qu'on mange ???) and copied it here because I never want to loose it. I have made these for the past 6 years for Christmas and each time have been asked for the recipe. Its easy to make and sooooooooooo good. The sweet and sour sauce, and trust me there is plenty of it, makes the meatballs perfectly tender. Can be frozen

PENNSYLVANIA DUTCH HAM BALLS
The woman who shared this married a man from Lancaster PA, right in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch country. She recreated this recipe after tasting ham balls at a family birthday party. These are the sweet, meaty morsels with a tangy glaze. Traditionally, they would be served with noodles to soak up the glaze, but rice or potatoes will do the job nicely.
