TEXAS GOLD BARS
I make this at Christmas. It is one of our family's favorites. Everyone who trys it loves it. It's so easy and soooo good. This is super moist and makes a delicious dessert or serve for hoilday gethetings.

Steps:
- 1. Mix together cake mix, 1/2 cup melted butter, and 1 egg, after mixing place the mixture in a 9x13" baking pan and pat down on all sides to fill the pan.
- 2. Sprinkle with coconut and pecans over the top of mixture.
- 3. Next mix the following ingredients and pour over the cake: 2 cups powder sugar, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1/2 teaspoon almond extract and 8 oz of cream cheese.
- 4. bake at 300 degreese for ( one ) hour . Let cool and cut into bars.

- Combine the cake mix, 1 egg, and the butter and mix until thick and doughy. Press into the bottom of an 8 1/2 X 11 glass baking dish, making sure to push it up the sides of the pan as far as possible.
- Mix together the softened cream cheese, 2 eggs, powdered sugar and cocoa until totally combined and creamy . Pour the mixture evenly on top of the crust base and sprinkle with the chocolate chips. Bake for 35-45 minutes until set.
