Warm Bourbon Lemonade Recipes

Steps:

• Combine 1 1/2 cups water and sugar in a small saucepan over high heat. Cook until the sugar is dissolved, about 2 minutes. Cool the simply syrup completely. This simple syrup can be made 1 week in advance and stored, covered, in the refrigerator.
• Combine the simple syrup, lemon juice and orange juice in a pitcher. Mix in the club soda. Add the lemon slices, orange slices and mint.
• Fill glasses with crushed ice. Add 1 shot bourbon to each glass and fill to the top with the sparkling lemonade. Garnish each glass with mint.

Steps:

• Combine hot water and brown sugar in a cocktail shaker. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add lemon juice, bourbon, triple sec, and 1 cup of ice. Cover and shake until chilled, 15 to 20 seconds.
• Fill a highball glass with ice. Strain cocktail over ice and top with club soda. Stir to combine. Garnish with a lemon slice.

Steps:

• Fill 2 ice cube trays with water. Distribute the zest among the compartments. Freeze until solid.
• Muddle the strawberries in a Mason jar shaker. Slap the basil between the palms of your hands to release the oils and add to the shaker along with the lemonade, bourbon and agave nectar. Add plain ice cubes. Shake and strain in to 2 glasses filled with ice cubes with lemon zest.
• Garnish with additional strawberries and basil.

• In a saucepan stir together the lemon juice, the sugar, and the water and simmer the mixture, stirring, until the sugar is dissolved. Stir in the bourbon, divide the lemonade among heated mugs, and garnish each drink with a lemon slice.
