- In a large saucepan, combine the eggnog, chocolate syrup and nutmeg; heat through over low heat, about 15 minutes (do not boil). Remove from the heat; stir in vanilla. , Pour into mugs. Top with a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle of nutmeg.

I found this recipe years ago on the internet. This recipe makes a great addition to any holiday meal, and a yummy twist to traditional eggnog. We like to use the Hersey's Special Dark syrup.

- 1. In a large saucepan, combine the eggnog, chocolate syrup, and nutmeg: heat through over low heat, about 15 minutes (DO NOT BOIL). Remove from heat: stir in vanilla.
- 2. Pour into mugs. Top with a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle of nutmeg.

- In a small heavy saucepan, whisk eggs and sugar until blended; stir in 2 cups chocolate milk. Cook and stir over medium heat 12-15 minutes or until mixture is just thick enough to coat a spoon and a thermometer reads at least 160°. Do not allow to boil. Immediately transfer to a large bowl., Stir in ice cream, vanilla and nutmeg. Stir in remaining chocolate milk. In a small bowl, beat cream until soft peaks form; stir into eggnog mixture. Transfer to a pitcher., Refrigerate, covered, until cold. Stir just before serving. Top servings as desired.

- Use a double boiler to melt chopped Unsweetened Baking Chocolate over a medium/low heat.
- Once the Unsweetened Baking Chocolate is completely melted, add Egg Nog and Milk. Bring to a simmer (do not boil).
- Whisk in Cocoa Powder, Ground Nutmeg and Vanilla.
- Continue to stir mixture until smooth and heated through.
- Pour the thick mixture in to a mug, garnish, as desired, and serve.
