WHITE CHOCOLATE BAKER'S ONE BOWL BLONDIES

Try out something different this week with White Chocolate BAKER'S ONE BOWL Blondies. These white chocolate blondies include chopped pecans for a nutty flavor and are a convenient one bowl blondie recipe.

White Chocolate BAKER'S ONE BOWL Blondies image

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Line 8-inch square pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides. Spray with cooking spray. Microwave chocolate and butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1-1/2 min. or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Add sugar; mix well. Blend in eggs. Add flour, baking powder and salt; mix well. Stir in nuts.
  • Spread into prepared pan.
  • Bake 30 to 35 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out with fudgy crumbs. (Do not overbake.) Cool in pan. Use foil handles to lift brownies from pan before cutting to serve.

BERRY AND WHITE CHOCOLATE BLONDIES

These blondies are fluffier and softer than traditional blondies, but they taste fantastic! They're also very to easy to make, and only use one bowl. Use any kind of berries you wish!

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a 9x9-inch pan with enough parchment paper to have overhang on all sides.
  • Mix together melted butter, brown sugar, and white sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer until thoroughly combined and mixture begins to lighten in color. Mix in egg, vanilla, and almond extract until thoroughly combined. Add in flour, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg, and mix until just combined. Gently fold in berries and white chocolate chips.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan. Carefully spread into an even layer.
  • Place pan into preheated oven and bake until blondies are golden brown and set, 35 to 40 minutes. Remove blondies from oven and allow to cool completely in the pan. Gently lift out of the pan using the excess parchment paper. Cut into 16 squares.

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and grease a 9×13 inch pan or line with aluminum foil or parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides to lift the finished brownies out (makes cutting easier!). Set aside.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter and chopped white chocolate. Melt in 30 second increments, whisking after each, until completely smooth. Whisk in the sugar until completely combined, then whisk in the eggs and vanilla. Whisk in the flour and salt, then fold in the white chocolate chips until combined. Batter will be thick. Spread evenly into prepared pan.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, covering loosely with aluminum foil halfway through. Test the brownies with a toothpick at the 30 minute mark. Insert it into the center of the pan. If it comes out with wet batter, the brownies are not done. If there are only a few moist crumbs, the brownies are done. Keep checking every 2 minutes until you have moist crumbs. My brownies take 32 minutes.
