Zesty Pizza Sauce Recipes

Steps:

• Combine all ingredients except the oil in a medium bowl and whisk until well combined.
• Whisk in the oil, pouring in a small amount at a time until incorporated.
• Use right away or store in the fridge for up to a week. The longer this sauce sits the more the flavors mingle.
• You can freeze this sauce for up to two months and it cans well.

Steps:

• In a small bowl, combine tomato paste, water, Parmesan cheese, garlic, honey, anchovy paste, onion powder, oregano, marjoram, basil, ground black pepper, cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes and salt; mix together, breaking up any clumps of cheese.
• Sauce should sit for 30 minutes to blend flavors; spread over pizza dough and prepare pizza as desired.

Steps:

• In a large nonstick saucepan, saute the green pepper, onion, carrot and garlic in oil until tender. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil.
