HONEY-GARLIC CHICKEN THIGHS
This is one of my family's favorite recipes. It's garlic-sweet and the cilantro tops it off.

Steps:
- Season the chicken on both sides with salt and pepper.
- Cover the bottom of a cast iron skillet with olive oil and bring to medium-high heat. Add chicken and brown on one side, 3 to 5 minutes. Flip chicken, and add onion and garlic; continue to cook until chicken is mostly (but not fully) cooked and onion and garlic are soft, 5 to 7 minutes more. Remove chicken to a plate.
- Add honey, soy sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, and onion powder to the skillet. Stir and scrape the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon to get the garlic and onion to mix with the liquid.
- Put chicken back into the pan, cover, and reduce heat to medium. Cook until no longer pink in the center and juices run clear, about 10 more minutes, turning once halfway through. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of a thigh should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
- Place on a serving tray and drizzle liquid from the pan on top. Sprinkle with chopped cilantro before serving.

- Preheat oven to 350F (180C). For easy clean-up, line a roasting pan or a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray. Place chicken, skin-side up, on prepared pan. Season with salt and pepper on all sides. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, garlic, rice vinegar, and soy sauce. Add water to thin, as necessary. Spoon about half of the sauce over chicken and spread liberally on each piece. Set aside remaining sauce. Bake, uncovered, for about 50 minutes - 1 hour, or until chicken is cooked through and skin is crispy and golden brown. As the chicken cooks, baste it once or twice with the remaining sauce. Recipe Notes Cooking Just for Two? You can easily cut the recipe in half. The grocery store often sells bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs or drumsticks in packages that range from 1.5 - 2 lbs. That's the perfect amount of chicken to cook for two people, and then just cut the sauce ingredients in half as well. Cooking time and temperature will remain the same. CRISPY BAKED HONEY-GARLIC CHICKEN
Crispy, oven-baked chicken nuggets drizzled in an amazingly sweet and spicy honey-garlic sauce. Great served over salad or rice, or with a side of veggies. Garnish with sesame seeds and parsley if desired.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place beaten egg in a shallow dish and season with salt and pepper. Place bread crumbs in another shallow dish.
- Dunk each piece of chicken in the beaten egg mixture, then coat well with bread crumbs. Transfer breaded chicken on the prepared baking sheet and repeat the process with remaining chicken.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden and no longer pink in the centers, about 20 minutes.
- While the chicken is baking, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, and Sriracha in a small saucepan over medium heat; bring to a boil. Reduce to heat and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring every so often.
- Remove cooked chicken from the oven and transfer to a shallow dish. Pour the sauce over top and toss until all chicken pieces are well coated.
