- Preheat an air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Pat chicken thighs dry with a paper towel and brush the skin-side of each piece with olive oil. Place chicken thighs, skin-side down, in a single layer on a plate.
- Combine smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl and sprinkle half the seasoning mixture evenly over the 4 chicken thighs. Turn thighs over and evenly sprinkle remaining seasoning mixture on top. Place chicken thighs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, skin-side up.
- Fry in the preheated air fryer until chicken is brown and juices run clear, about 18 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

CRISPY AIR FRYER CHICKEN THIGHS RECIPE BY TASTY
Meet your latest weeknight dinner. Chicken thighs are soaked in a zesty balsamic marinade to tenderize and add tons of flavor to the meat. They're then cooked in an air fryer until crispy and golden brown. It's a super easy recipe and minimal clean up with the help of the air fryer!

Steps:
- Generously season the chicken thighs with salt on both sides, including under the skin.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning.
- Add chicken thighs to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. Let the chicken come to room temperature before cooking.
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (195°C) for 3 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and pat dry with a paper towel. Lightly spray with cooking spray or rub with a bit of olive oil.
- Add the chicken thighs (as many as will fit) to the air fryer, skin-side down, and cook for 5-7 minutes. Flip the chicken and cook 5 -7 minutes more, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Repeat with the remaining chicken thighs, if needed.
- Garnish with herbs of choice and serve.

- Combine orange juice, oil, 1 tablespoon pollo asado seasoning, vinegar, and garlic in a large container, or resealable plastic bag.
- Sprinkle remaining pollo asado seasoning on chicken. Add chicken to the marinade and refrigerate for 1 hour or overnight.
- Preheat an air fryer to 370 degrees F (180 degrees C).
- Drain off marinade from chicken.
- Air-fry until chicken is no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, about 15 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). Serve immediately.

- Combine the paprika in a bowl with the herbs and garlic granules, if using, together with ½ tsp salt and ½ tsp ground black pepper. Scatter onto a plate. Rub the chicken thighs with the oil, then coat in the spice mix.
- Put in the basket of your air fryer and cook, skin-side down, for 10 mins at 180C. Turn over and cook for a further 10-15 mins until cooked through and the skin is crispy. To check they are cooked, pierce the thickest part of the thigh with a knife to see if the juices run clear. Remove from the air fryer immediately to stop the skin from softening.

- Trim some of the skin and most of the fat from the chicken thighs. (I used kitchen shears to trim the chicken.) I like to make short slits through the skin and into the meat, but that's not essential.
- Mix together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, Spike Seasoning (affiliate link) or another seasoning blend, dried basil, dried oregano, onion powder, dried sage, and black pepper to make the marinade.
- Put chicken thighs in a Ziploc bag or plastic container with a snap-tight lid, add the marinade and let the chicken marinate in the fridge at least 6 hours, or all day while you're at work.
- When it's time to cook, drain the chicken well in a colander placed in the sink and discard marinade.
