AMISH PEA SALAD
Another picnic salad from a different Amish cookbook. About the preparation time, it takes about 20 to 30 minutes to do all the chopping, etc., then there's the chilling time, to allow the flavors to blend.

- 1. Combine all the ingredients in the order given in a large bowl and mix lightly.
- 2. Chill for several hours (about 3 is good) in a tightly covered container to allow all of the flavors to meld (see my notes).
