Steps:
- Seperate chard leaves from stems and ribs; wash leaves throughtly and roughly chop; if using stems, rinse and finely chop.
- Heat oil in a deep saute pan or Dutch oven over medium heat; add cumin seeds and cook, stirring often, until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add garlic and chard stems; cook stirring often, for 3 minutes more;stir in lemon slices.
- Add the leaves in 2 batches, allowing them to wilt before adding more; add broth (or water), honey,salt and pepper; Cover and cook until greens are tender, 1 to 2 minutes more, Serve hot or warm.

Steps:
- Heat oil in large skillet. Add garlic and shallots and cook on low heat until soft and frangrant. (Add a bit of water if vegetables start to stick).
- Add greens and toss with garlic mixture.
- Add wine and bring to boil. When greens start to wilt, turn them. Cover and cook for a few minutes longer. Season with salt and pepper.

- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the mustards and 3 tablespoons of the lemon juice.
- While whisking vigorously, drizzle in the olive oil until thickened. Adjust lemon juice to taste, and season with salt and pepper.
- Place greens in a serving bowl and toss with just enough dressing to lightly coat them. Reserve any remaining dressing for another use.

This is a British cousin of American lemonade. Makes an excellent mixer for gin, vodka, and tequila. Personally, I like it mixed with tonic water or soda water and poured over crushed ice on a hot summer day.

- Cut the lemons into pieces, put in a saucepan with the water and bring to the boil.
- Reduce the heat and simmer gently for 10-15 minutes, until the fruit is soft.
- Add the sugar and stir until dissolved.
- Remove from the heat, cover and cool.
- Strain before using.
