BUGLE BITES
Someone has probably already posted this - I can't even call it a recipe, it is so simple - but this is such a cute idea. My grandchildren enjoyed helping to make these. (They ate about half of the bites while we were working) Thanks to the blog "Dandelions and Lace" for the photo and recipe. Hint: If you a planning to make...

Steps:
- 1. Melt the almond bark in a double boiler (or microwave, if you're so inclined). Remember not to let moisture get in or the almond bark will get chunky. Start with half a package of almond bark.
- 2. After almond bark is melted, pick a bugle with a nice wide opening and dip the open end into the almond bark...
- 3. Top with an M&M. Looks almost like an ice cream cone, or they could be little horns of plenty using fall colored M & Ms
- 4. Lay on wax paper to cool and harden. [Pop in fridge to cool if you're pressed for time].
RANCH SNACK MIX
This is a wonderful fast-to-fix munchie. The recipe makes tons and doesn't involve any cooking. It's a cinch to package in individual snack bags, it keeps its crunch and it's a savory alternative to the cakes and pies usually offered at bake sales. -Linda Murphy, Pulaski, Wisconsin
