CHICKEN DIVAN
This recipe is very good served over pasta or rice. I have also used turkey instead of chicken so bear that in mind when you want to use up leftover turkey.

Steps:
- Cook broccoli in salted water until just tender.
- Drain.
- Place in a 12x8 baking dish.
- Melt butter in saucepan; blend in flour.
- Add chicken broth all at once and cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.
- Stir in cream and wine.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour half the sauce over the broccoli.
- Top with chicken slices.
- To remaining sauce, add 1/4 cup parmesan cheese and pour over chicken and sprinkle with additional cheese if desired.
- Bake in 350 oven for 20 minutes or until hot.
- Then broil until top is golden brown.

Steps:
- Boil chicken until white and then cut chicken into small pieces.
- Heat oven to 350°F.
- Butter a large deep pan and pour the broccoli into it.
- Sprinkle chicken over top of the broccoli.
- In a med. bowl combine the mayo, two cans of soup, curry powder, salt, and sherry.
- Pour over the chicken.
- Top w/ the shredded cheese.
- Toast the pieces of bread.
- Melt about half a stick of butter in the microwave (add enough butter to lightly soak the bread pieces) Cube the pieces of bread and throw them in the butter.
- Lightly mix.
- Put the bread mixture on top of the casserole.
- Bake approx 40 minutes.
- Serve over white/ yellow rice and homemade biscuits!
- Enjoy!

- broil chicken and cube.
- cut and steam broccoli.
- grate cheese.
- mix together, cream of chicken soup, milk and Mayo.
- Now layer, with broccoli on the bottom, then the chicken, and then the sauce, top it all with the grated cheese. Then bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes
- Serve over rice, and enjoy!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly butter a 9X13 glass dish or shallow casserole.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and add flour. Stir for one minute.
- Add the broth and milk gradually until the sauce is thickened.
- Add half of the cheese and the worcestershire sauce. Stir until the cheese melts and remove from heat.
- Place the broccoli in the prepared pan or dish and sprinkle the remaining cheese over it.
- Place the chicken slices evenly over the cheese.
- Bake about 30 minutes, or until slightly bubbly and golden brown.

- Cook chicken until tender. Cool, debone the chicken and cut into chunks.
- Cook the broccoli. Drain.
- Grease a 3-quart casserole dish.
- Place the chicken on the bottom and the broccoli on top.
- Combine Miracle Whip, soup, curry powder and lemon juice.
- Pour this mixture over the broccoli. Sprinkle with a mixture of breadcrumbs, cheese, and melted butter.
- Bake at 350°F for 30-40 minutes.

Yes there are a lot of different chicken divan recipe's out there but I will swear on this one as being the best. I have been making this for years now and it ALWAYS get's gobbled up. Out of everything I cook, my husband gets excited about this dish more than any other. It's a for sure crowd pleaser- no doubt! The lemon juice is what really makes the recipe- I don't ever really measure it just squeeze into the dish until I feel like it's enough!

- 1. Boil chicken breasts in water until cooked through.
- 2. Place broccoli on bottom of 13x9 casserole dish.
- 3. In a medium bowl mix soups, mayonaise, chedder cheese and lemon juice.

- Fry chicken pieces in frying pan until no longer pink inside.
- Place in a greased casserole dish.
- Steam broccoli and place in casserole dish with chicken.
