CHEESY CAULIFLOWER IN THE MICROWAVE

Steps:
- Place cauliflower in a microwave-safe bowl and cover with paper towels. Cook in the microwave on high for 5 to 6 minutes. Remove from the microwave, drain any liquid, and stir cauliflower. Return to the microwave and cook until soft, 5 to 6 more minutes.
- Spray cauliflower with butter-flavored cooking spray and season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, and garlic; stir to combine.
- Microwave until cheese is melted, 1 to 2 more minutes.

this recipe I have inherited from my mother as it is very easy to cook but surely I have added my own aroma so that working women like me too can have a try.

Steps:
- Take the cauliflower and remove all its leaves and stems.wash it properly and cut into semi big cubed shape.while cutting be careful about those insect inside the the cauliflower.So,after cut it put all the pieces in vinegar for some time(5 minutes) so that all those insect get washed out then again wash it with plain water and keep aside.now take the poppy seed in a bowl along with water,salt and green chillies.Put all the ingredients in a mixer grinder and make fine paste out of it.Now in a microwave safe glass bowl mix the cauliflower with the poppy seed paste along with sugar and oil.Now keep it inside the microwave oven (convectional)and set it in normal mode that is 700 watt for 15 minutes.In between don't forget to check it,if you see the upper portion is getting brown then with a spatula mix it again and then cover it and keep it back.in the microwave oven.Once the cauliflower becomes soft and nice aroma starts spreading your roast is ready to eat.Enjoy wit paratha or hot rice.

ROASTED CAULIFLOWER
Cauliflower is an excellent blank canvas. You can steam or blanch it to keep its essential flavors intact, but by roasting or sautéing it, you can bring out its sweetness. Cauliflower will absorb the oil and seasoning, soaking up flavors much the way eggplant does. But it remains firmer. Roasted cauliflower can be served warm or at room temperature. It can be part of an antipasto of roasted vegetables. Or an accompaniment to a roast chicken or lamb. And though they aren't obvious choices, scallops and lobster, both naturally sweet themselves, are delicious with roasted cauliflower.

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place cauliflower in a large mixing bowl. Pour on enough olive oil to coat (a few tablespoons). Season generously with salt and pepper and toss gently until evenly coated.
- Lay cauliflower pieces out on a baking sheet. Drizzle any remaining oil from the bowl on top. Bake, turning once, until caramelized on edges and tender, 25 to 30 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature, as a side dish. You can also sprinkle it with a very good aged vinegar. Or, cut florets into smaller pieces and add to salads.
