Cherry Crunch Dessert Pizza Recipes

Steps:

• In a large bowl, combine flour and baking powder; cut in butter and shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually add water, tossing with a fork until dough forms a ball. , Roll out into a 14-in. circle. Place on an ungreased 12-in. pizza pan. Flute edges to form a rim; prick bottom of crust. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. , In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in nuts. Spread over crust. Bake 10 minutes longer. Cool. Drain cherries, reserving 1/3 cup juice. Set cherries and juice aside. , In a large saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch; stir in reserved juice until smooth. Add cherries. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil. Cook and stir 2 minutes longer , Remove from the heat; stir in butter, extract and food coloring. • 2. Place the naan pizza crust( or the two naan breads) on a foil-lined medium baking sheet.
• 3. In a medium bowl, crumble together the brown sugar, flour, butter and cinnamon until it resembles wet sand. Add the nuts to this mixture.
• 4. Top the naan with 1/2 C of the crumb mixture. Evenly distribute the cherry pue filling over the crumb layer.

• 6. Bake in 350 degree oven for 15-20 mintes, ntil golden brwn on to and slightly bubblng. Decorate with a few green cherries if desired. Cool 5-10 minutes before serving. Great with a dollop of whipped cream if desired!

• Sprinkle nuts over cake mix.
• Melt margarine and pour evenly as possible over all.
• Bake until brown and bubbly at 350°F 35-40 minutes.
