CHINESE CROCK POT CHICKEN
This is easy and tasty, the crock pot does the work. The recipe came from the crock pot cookbook I use pretty often. It's good enough for company.

Steps:
- Place your chicken in the crock pot.
- Mix together soy sauce, marmalade and ketchup, and pour over the chicken.
- Then add garlic and onions, a teeny bit of salt (won't need much because of the soy sauce) and pepper.
- Cover with lid and cook on low setting for about 10-12 hours.
- Chicken should be falling off the bone when ready. Serve with rice.

- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the chicken in oil on all sides. Transfer to a 5-qt. slow cooker. Combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, water, garlic and ginger; pour over chicken. , Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until chicken juices run clear. Remove chicken to a serving platter sprinkle with almonds.

- Whisk together the honey, melted butter, soy sauce, oyster sauce, vinegar, garlic, ginger and half of the scallions in slow cooker bowl. Place chicken into the sauce, rotating to coat. Cover and cook for 3-4 hours on low setting. (Cook time depends on the thickness of your chicken.)
- When the sauce is simmering (in the last hour of cooking time), whisk the cornstarch and water together in a small bowl until dissolved. Stir the cornstarch mixture into the sauce; change heat setting to high, mix it through and cover again to allow to thicken and continue cooking until the chicken is just beginning to fall apart.
- Taste test, season with salt, pepper and sriracha if desired. Serve with steamed greens and rice; garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
